Get Up's work can be seen on walls throughout the US and Europe. After producing hip-hop records and DJing for 10+ years under a different alias, then moving from Philly to San Francisco, he started to become more influenced by electronic music and street art. Wanting to create a new name to fit his new brand of music and having a graffiti background and street art influence, he chose the name "Get Up". Starting with a simple stencil to put up just to bring attention to the name, he quickly started to gain a following in SF. Soon after, people started asking where they could buy shirts with his stencil designs. Get Up, always being a DIY person, taught himself how to screenprint and started advancing with the aersol art. Fast forward three years and he now has a full clothing brand that is forever expanding, a flagship store/gallery in Philly, steady commission/mural work around the country and steady music gigs, all while still hitting the streets and making everything himself.

“Making a successful luxury brand in nine years is genius. It’s a feat that I admire and hope to continue building upon with a rich legacy. He revolutionised streetwear and luxury that crosses generations and decades. He showed the world that the underrepresented, the underdogs and Black people, in particular, have brilliant minds and can push and compete equally in the establishment. He inspired hope and brought about change.” - Ibrahim Kamara, Art&Image Director Off-White™
